Planning Brief for the Victoria Area - Adopted April 2006
The City Council is committed to the long term investment in and the development and improvement of the Victoria Area and has since 2001 sought to promote and influence proposals to secure the required improvements through a series of planning briefs, of which this is the latest version.
This adopted planning brief sets out a framework for development at Victoria, which takes account of the results of public consultation, emerging developments, experience gained and the results of studies and the active co-operation of the Greater London Authority, Transport for London, major landowners and developers.
Since the last draft planning brief was released for public consultation in November 2005, Victoria has moved on in a number of ways. The City of Westminster wishes to see the momentum of these changes continue. This revision to the planning brief has taken account of the results of public consultation and how things have moved forward since the last version of this brief. This 2006 version provides advice and further information for all involved in the planning and development of Victoria.
