A Personal Search
Fees
The fees for the two forms of a personal search are:
  • £195 for a "Full" Personal Search. This includes CON 29R
  • £11 for a "Register Part" only Personal search.

A minimum of 24 hours notice is preferable for booking a personal search so that the search can be ready at the appointed time.  If you wish to cancel a personal search booking please give 4 hours notice.

Personal Searches can be booked between 9 am and 4.30 pm by phoning 020 7641 2413.


The information that must be given over the phone is:

  • the full address of the property to be searched
  • whether it is a "Full" or "Registrar Part" only personal search
  • the name of the company making the request
  • a contact telephone number
  • a contact name in case of queries


Local Land Charges will confirm:

  • The time for the completed search to be picked up
  • The fee to be paid on collection

Personal searches are collected from the Planning Desk, One-Stop Services, Westminster City Hall, 62 Victoria Street upon receipt of the correct fee.
