The process of dealing with a planning application is time consuming, in most cases requiring extensive consultation of statutory bodies and neighbours.

Westminster aims to make a decision on most planning applications within 8 weeks, subject to receipt of all the necessary information.

Government targets have been set for Local Planning Authorities to deal with applications and our current performance is as follows
