Sponsoring hanging baskets in Westminster

Hanging baskets on lamp columns are one of the easiest and most effective ways of brightening up the city streets with flowers and greenery. Streets filled with bright flowers and lush greenery are not only nicer to live and work in. they’re better for business too.

Many of the attractive floral displays currently on show in Westminster include hanging baskets sponsored by local organisations. For several years, the City Council has enabled businesses and residents’ groups to colour their streets with flowers.

This year as part of the Civic Renewal programme additional funding has been allocated for new hanging baskets and new grants are being made available to those residents and businesses keen on enriching their environment.
