Renewable energy can help reduce climate change and save money on your energy costs. However, the payback period can be quite long and energy efficiency improvements should always be considered before fitting renewable energy.

The Council currently supports the Solar for London scheme which provides grants and assistance towards installing a solar hot water system.

Two grants are available to help fund the cost, the Government's clear Skies grant offers £400 and Westminster City Council a further £350.
