Westminster City Council has ambitious plans for significantly improved facilities at our secondary and special schools. Through the Building Schools for the Future and Academies programmes, we aim to give parents a wider choice of schools with higher standards, and to give our young people the best start in life. We see Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as a key driver in helping to deliver a transformation in our education provision.

The Bouygues Partnership for Education and Community (BPEC) has been selected as the ‘preferred tenderer’ to deliver Westminster’s BSF programme. We are fast approaching financial close, which will bring Bouygues UK, education ICT specialist Ramesys, and Westminster City Council together to form a Local Education Partnership (LEP) to oversee the construction works at the Sample Schools and design development for the remaining six Non-Sample Schools throughout 2008.
Work is already underway at our three Sample Schools - Pimlico, St. Marylebone and Westminster City School. Click on the school links for details.
