Financial support for higher education students
If you are starting a course of higher education in the academic year 2008/09, there is a range of financial support available to help with the costs of study. For example:

• A Maintenance Loan of up to £6475 to meet living costs while at university 
• A Tuition Fee Loan of up to £3145 to cover the cost of course fees
• A Maintenance Grant of up to £2835, which you don't have to repay
• Supplementary Grants including the Childcare Grant
• Disabled Students Allowance

How do I apply?
Student financial support comes from Student Finance Direct.

Westminster City Council deals with applications on behalf of Student Finance Direct for all students who live in Westminster.

You can:

• Download an application form and return it to Westminster City Council
