Early Childhood Services
Early Childhood Services (ECS) is within Westminster’s Children's Services Department and is responsible for commissioning and supporting the delivery of early years education, childcare and play. The Children’s Information Service is located within Early Childhood Services.
What is the EYDCP?
The EYDCP is a partnership of childcare professionals, representatives from Primary Care Trusts, social services and any other agency that works with children and families. The EYDCP meets termly to discuss and advise on the work of Early Childhood Services in response to the National Sure Start Guidance. This ensures that national and local priorities are met. The wider partnership comes together at 3 public meetings a year.
