Church Street Ward By-Election

Thursday 24 July 2008

Due to the death of Councillor Anthony Mothersdale, a vacancy has arisen for the position of Councillor in the Church Street Ward. A By-Election will be held on 24 July 2008. Poll cards will shortly be sent to all relevant electors.

For those not currently registered to vote the deadline for applications to register to vote at this election is  Wednesday 9th July. You can download a voter registration form here.

If you are unable to vote in person on Polling Day you can apply to vote by post. Applications to vote by post must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 9th July. 

Alternatively you can appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. Applications to vote by proxy must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 16th July.
