Council budget 2007/2008

Westminster City Council's gross revenue expenditure for 2007/08 is £954m. After deducting service income, specific government grants & subsidies and adjustments to balances the Council's Budget Requirement is £215m. Of this budget requirement £48m is funded via Council tax (equivalent to £377.80 for a typical Band D property). The Council's capital programme (net of grants and contributions) for 2007/08 amounts to £110.4 million.
