2007/08 Statement of Accounts

The Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2007 provides information about costs and income of the Council’s services for the year and liabilities and assets at the year end.

From Monday, 21st July to Friday 15th August 2008 members of the public were invited to inspect the Council's draft Annual Accounts for 2007/08 at our One Stop Shops or at the City Hall Reception desk. The note below details the public's rights to inspect the accounts and brief guidance for interested parties. A copy of the advert that was placed in the local press notifying people of their opportunity to inspect the accounts is also included in this document.

The nominated audit day when members of the pubic are able to raise queries with the District Auditor is Wednesday 20th August. This session takes place between 10-11am in the Finance meeting room located on the 16th floor (North) in City Hall. The Director of Finance and Resources or his representative are in attendance with the District Auditor for this purpose.
