This Annual Report summarises our achievements in 2007/08 and identifies planned performance in 2008/09 in relation to delivering the One City agenda. It also includes a summary of the Council’s unaudited annual accounts for 2007/08, progress against the 2007/08 Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPIs), an analysis of the Council’s initiatives to reduce the City of Westminster’s carbon footprint and within the appendices reports on performance against key performance indicators.
The City Council has previously consulted on the preparation of Annual Report.
Let us have your views on what you want to know about council performance and how we manage our finances.
This Summer Westminster City Council will be producing an Annual Report setting out what we have achieved, how we have used our finances and our future plans. We will also include information on our key performance indicators (for example, school results and recycling rates) and a summary of accounts (for example, a summary of the Council’s capital and revenue expenditure by service, details on the Council’s balance sheet including available reserves and details on the level of Council tax).
We would like to hear your views on other areas of council performance or our finances that are of interest to you. It would also be useful to hear your views on the sort of information you would like to see in our Summary of Accounts information. Click here for the summary of the 2006/07 accounts. Please click here to feed in your views. The deadline for comments is 7 May 2008.
We would also welcome comments on what formats (e.g. talking book or braille) or languages you consider it would be useful for us to publish the annual report and summary accounts in.
