• Bed & breakfast hotels (for people on benefit)
• Community groups
• Government strategy on rough sleeping
• Female hostels- St Louise
• House of St Barnabis
• To obtain Birth Certificate
• Other housing Schemes/options
• Piccadilly advice centre
• A shelter guide
• Finding place to live.

Customers can obtain school and adult education prospectuses, submit students' awards and free school meal application forms.

Customers also able to contact the Students Awards department using the internal telephone.

Highways consent

Application for highways licenses can be processed at the One Stop Services. More information ...

Licensing

Street Trading, Special Treatment and Other Licenses can be obtained from the One Stop Services.

Customers can submit the application form, we check against the eligibility criteria. These forms then forwarded onto the Licensing department to be processed. One Stop Services only accept cash or cheque payments.

Planning & Local Land Charges

City Hall One Stop Services has a dedicated planning desk open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday which offers the following services:

• Free access to the council website to view planning information (see below).
• Microfiche Readers to access view historic planning decisions information (please pre order microfiche)
• Access to view current planning applications (Application forms and Plans)
• Copies of planning application forms and various planning publications
• Pay for and obtain searches

Whilst the Planning Desk will be able to offer general guidance and advice the staff cannot assist with technical enquiries or comment on specific applications. Please contact Planning and City Development.

Committee

One Stop Services have access to committee minutes and meetings. More information ...

ResCard

Westminster City Council has Rescard for residents. Rescard holders will able to get concession on leisure activities. Resident can pick up an application at One Stop Services or can see one of the officers and apply via our internal online application.

Residents' parking

One Stop Services can process Resident-parking applications. One Stop Services checks against the eligibility criteria whilst issuing permits. More information ...

General and local information

One Stop holds a variety of information unrelated to Westminster council. These are here to help customers that are new to the borough or visiting.

Examples of the information held are:

• Special events, such as concerts held at certain theatres
• List of Doctors
• Solicitors
• Access to yellow pages and other local directories
• Information on Congestion Charges
• Local newspapers
• Activities for children and childcare facilities (both private and public)

There are a large majority of customers that visit OSS to find general directions and OSS is able to provide this service due to general knowledge of the area.

Council Tax and Business Rate enquiries

Customers can expect to receive advice, guidance and information on council tax and business rates. One Stop Services would issue receipt to confirm their visit. More information ...
