Do I need to bring a copy of my bill?
Please do if you can, but it is not essential.
Do I need to bring any identification?
Yes - we have a responsibility under law to check who we're talking to before we release confidential information about accounts. Customers without Identification may have to be turned away.
Can I make an enquiry on behalf of someone else?
Only if you have written permission from the account holder, or documents demonstrating that you have been granted power of attorney in order to conduct business on their behalf. This is a matter of law.
Can I enquire about Council Tax Benefit?
Our staff can give general advice, but we always recommend customers approach Westminster Benefits Service directly.
