You can now also take a virtual tour of each room and the Old Marylebone Hall.

The Blue Marriage RoomThe Blue Marriage Room

This stately room is elegantly decorated with cream and lilac panelled walls, blue carpet and thirty blue upholstered seats. The maximum capacity of this room is thirty people.

This room has a wonderful ceiling with elaborate fretwork and cornicing. The luxurious blue velvet drapes and blue carpet complement the impressive wood panelling. This room has seating for seventy people with standing room for up to thirty more. Should the bride wish to make a grand entrance for her marriage, this room is perfect, with large double doors and a small aisle leading to the Registrar's table.

If you wish to hold your wedding in this room on a weekday, we will need to reserve it especially for you, but it is always available for weddings on Saturdays.

The Purple Marriage RoomThe Purple Marriage Room:

With its long aisle and elegant décor, this recently refurbished room offers couples a traditional and stylish setting for their wedding.

With seating for up to eighty guests, this large room is decorated with lilac panelled walls, purple carpet and corn-coloured upholstered chairs. The original fireplaces at each end of the room have been uncovered and restored. Fresh flower arrangements add a touch of colour and provide a lovely backdrop for photographs. Above one fireplace is the City of Westminster crest and above the other a wonderful water colour and ink drawing of the building by its architect Sir Edwin Cooper.

Purple silk drapes with gold trimming adorn the windows, while the impressive art deco style luminaires cast a beautiful array of light across the room.

Maximum of 80 people: £260.00
