Question	What if the parents don't have English as their first language?
Answer	If English is not the first language of the parents and they would like someone to help with the registration, they should ask a friend or relative to come with them to the Register Office. But please remember one of the parents must register the birth personally - they cannot ask a friend or relative to come in instead.
