About Us

Westminster City Council's Voluntary Sector Service is based in the Adult Services Department and is the first point of contact for the voluntary sector in Westminster.

There are currently 2 staff members, a Grants and Voluntary Sector Officer and Voluntary Sector Unit Administrator.

We provide basic information and/or sign posting of enquiries relating to the voluntary sector.

Manages, Co-ordinates and Administers the City Council’s Funding to Voluntary Organisations Programme

Manages and Administers Funds from Charitable Trusts, i.e. The Edward Harvist Trust

Provides support to the voluntary sector in Westminster, providing information and advice to groups and participating in the Funder’s Network

Develops and implements policy relating to voluntary sector for example the Compact.

Supports and works with the sector and individual groups on initiatives and projects.
