Holiday Parking Scheme

When Westminster residents go away on holiday (or for any reason), they are supposed to leave keys with a friend or relative who is supposed to check the vehicle on a daily basis to ensure that no warning of a suspension has been posted. In the event that a suspension has been posted, they must move the vehicle. From time to time this fails either because the resident has no-one to leave their keys with or because the suspension is needed for an emergency and there is no-one available to move the vehicle at short notice.

With the Holiday Parking Scheme, residents can leave their vehicle in a Westminster City Council car park.

Eligibility Criteria

• You must hold a valid residents' parking permit for the duration of parking.
• Your resident's address must match the address registered to the residents' permit.
• 5 working days minimum notice is required.
• The total maximum stay in 1 year is 6 weeks.

How to apply

Residents should call 0800 243 348. You will need to provide the customer service advisor with the following information:

• Resident Permit Number
• Name and Address
• Vehicle Registration Number
• Dates where parking is required
• Your preferred car park
• Credit Card Details for Payment

All Westminster City Council car parks have been awarded Safer Car Park status. We are the only car park operator in London to have 100% Safer Car Park status.
