Street cleansing services

Keeping a 24hr city clean is a 24hr job. The Clean Streets waste collection, street cleansing and recycling contract is our strategy to do just that.

London is the economic powerhouse of the country. It contributes some £20 billion to the UK's economy net. Westminster is the heart of the Capital and is home to 33,000 businesses providing 570,000 jobs. London welcomes millions of visitors bringing £8 billion every year to London's economy.

If we did not keep the City clean, London's economic success story would soon change. Investment, business and jobs would leave and people would not enjoy the wide variety of activities available in this city.

Our contract with Veolia Environment Services (UK) (formerly Onyx UK) began on Monday 15th September 2003. The contract has been designed to fulfil our vision of Clean Streets with more sweeping, more street washing, new vehicles and equipment, improved residential recycling and extra waste collection services.
