Illegal Street Trading

Any person who wishes to sell goods on the public highway requires a licence. The Street Licensing Enforcement Team deals with many illegal street traders selling items such as wire sculptures, whistles, DVDs, CDs, watches and hotdogs. This also includes ticket touting at large events. Normally when an officer identifies an illegal street trader their goods are seized and the trader reported for prosecution.
