Over 200 of you voted for your favourite market trader in December 2006 in Westminster's market trader of the year competition. Joe Harrison, Head of the National Market Traders' Federation joined Cllr Audrey Lewis in judging the finalists on the 15th February '06
The winner was Oxford Street stall holder, Mark Impleton

Mark Impleton, a stall holder on Oxford street sells pashminas and scarves. He was nominated by residents, commuters and tourists. Customers of his stall said he was "an amazing trader with great customer service" His "fantastic sense of humour" and "quality items" were also complimented.
Mark said "I am elated and very proud to win this competition. I'm very privileged to be trading on Oxford Street, the premier shopping street in London."
