How much does it cost?

  • The amount you pay depends on both the maximum area of highway to be occupied by your structure and the maximum length of time it will be required.
  • If your structure is for demolition works or a façade support then the fee is automatically £1000.
  • Licences for each price band will be issued for 3, 6 and 12 months corresponding to the proposed duration of works (maximum 12 months).
  • Prices no longer takes into consideration the number of elevations nor the type of structure to be erected, e.g. scaffold, hoarding, etc.

From 3rd March 2008 a new charge of £75 for initial inspections/site meetings will be added to the following prices.
